Twigs are typically subtle, lonesome, and fragile elements of trees and bushes. Considered separately, they are usually seen as dried and detached parts that no longer bear life. Even though separate twigs are weak and brittle, twigs combined in a bunch show their collective power and liveliness. However, single twigs can also represent life and beauty. When looking at separate twigs, it is clear that they are as beautiful as full-grown trees, but their beauty is usually lost in the heaps of garbage and leaves scattered in the streets. Therefore, this idea sets the stage for works expressing the idea of life that is lost but can still be rescued.
